The Rising Round-up

This weekend was the Goldendale Rodeo. Taylor had her BF Olivia go with us, and after we got home the kids were ready to rope em' up and hoot and holler. So Ben put on the Rising round-up. The girls were the cows and Ben was the cowboy!

It was definitely entertaining. I almost enjoyed it more than the real Rodeo. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time.

Taryn laughed pretty hard as well.

The cows eventually conquered the cowboy!!
Isn't he a good Dad!

Is the tooth fairy real?

Taylor wanted me to be sure and show everyone that she lost her first tooth. I was kind of surprised, neither of my kids got their first tooth until they were one. So I figured they would lose them late as well, but Taylor is the first one of her friends to do it. And her first questions was whether or not the tooth fairy was real.

A close up ! Her other tooth on the right side is loose as well. I did hear they lose them in pairs though.

This is Taryn's first day of school! And the first thing the kids do is feed the fish.
She is doing early head start. She needs to learn the social aspect of being two, and I think this will help. I did cry leaving her for the first time though. She did great!

Taylor came and got her to be comfortable in this new environment. The little boys name in Reed. He is one of her friends, she knew before school.

Tour My Home

So I tried to give you an idea of what my house looked like.
It was really hard to give you an actual visual perspective through
the little camera lense, but I tried.

This is the girls bathroom. All flowers of course!

I keep forgetting to flip these photo's before I post them. I hope no one gets a kink in their neck.
This is their new bedroom. We just bought bunk beds and put the girls together.
So we are still in construction mode. It is supposed to be a garden room.

This is their playroom. It has pink walls and stars.
This picture didn't turn out very well sorry.

This is a picture of our front room, the office/exercise room is through the doorway.
The girls room is down the hall along with their bathroom and the guest bathroom and bedroom. Which is basically my storage room.

This is a picture from my front door. The kitchen and front room are just one big room.

Then on the left of this room is our bedroom and bath. The laundry room
is the other doorway you see on the upper far left. I hope you enjoyed this
exclusive tour of my home.

O.K. I did it. I finally let Taryn play with
Play Dough!

Taylor has been asking to play with it for a long time. I never would let her because
Taryn consumes everything she sees.

Taylor even made me a new set of lips. Aren't they beautiful?

I'm thinking about attaching them permanently.

The Fourth Of July

This was our Fourth of July in Logan, UT. We had been traveling for 12 hours that day, but we still made it in time for the fireworks. Yeah! So we munched on snacks, and waited for the show to begin. Taryn had lots of hugs and kisses for Grandma.

Taylor and Nanny (Andrea) relaxing

We all love sunflower seeds! Sorry guys not such a hot picture.
There is nothing pretty about spitting seeds. LOL!

Taryn was pretty amazed, mom was just excited for fireworks.
They don't have fireworks in Goldendale, so it has been a few years
since we have gotten to watch them.

Taylor was showing everyone just how big the fireworks were. She was definitely as loud as they were. ( I couldn't figure out how to flip this photo sorry.)
